Oh, actual pictures of people on skis. Our route was up the Mangatoetoenui Glacier, reaching the Tukino summit, and then back down the same way. #skiing

A skier, skinning up, looks over the edge and down the steep gully. Mostly snow here, but also some rocky cliffs to the right. Sky is white.

Skier near the end of an avalanche debris field which is brown and rocky snow as opposed to the usual white snow. Cliffs and summits in the background under a blue sky at this (earlier) point.
