@gedankenstuecke it's interesting, I despise almost all gen AI, am disgusted by Mozilla's turn, and yet, I just can't seem to make myself care so much about this one.

I think the point that there's no ethical way to train AI is valid; and that BDFL far more often end in tears then not, and yet... I still can't really bring myself to care about this.

They're tiny features. Books are notoriously hard to search, and I can see value in having this. It's small, local, easy to ignore.
