The Denver Botanic Gardens' ecoquest for December is "Chasing Cattails."
Here are my observations so far.

A light brown cattail is mostly fluffed away, with pinks and blues from the sunset shimmering off Belmar Lake.
A cattail partially fluffed away as the sun sets below the horizon.
