Why the regime wants to kill its own supporters and kill the economy that enriches them, I really have no clue. But they are doing everything they can to annihilate their own country.
And getting measles means that your immune system is reset to zero which has a significant impact on your life expectancy, even if you recover from it.

However, this graphic is misleading because it frames the increase relative to 2020, when measles cases collapsed to just 13 due to COVID-19 lockdowns, reduced travel, masking, and disrupted reporting. By comparison, the U.S. recorded roughly 370 measles cases in 2018 and about 1,275 cases in 2019, which was the highest pre-pandemic year in decades. The sad state of affairs is the numbers are only going to go up. I don’t know whether the worst affected states are going to get a handle on things. They certainly may well do so.
But who knows. The holiday season is upon us. I don’t even want to think about the potential of spreading, because red state, sloppy and incompetent?
