Have had very few opportunities to get close to the cranes with my telephoto lens in Bhutan this trip, but they have totally been worth it.

Eventually the crane pairs had finished brekky in the paddock, and were ready to head off to look for more snacks elsewhere.
They let us get pretty close this time
