The far right is promoting two contradictory things that add up to a really disturbing conclusion:
- Immigration must be stopped by all means
- No action should be taken against climate crisis
Contradiction is this: the climate crisis will make large areas of Africa uninhabitable, massive numbers of people would be forced to move.
The numbers involved would be much larger than anything currently. Quite how the far right would try to stop people fleeing is disturbingly unclear. We know what happened next when Jewish refugees were turned away in the 1930s 😞
