@tinker My first #Kratky #hydroponic attempts. Plant info in alt text. They are 5L buckets, with 4L of nutrient mix. They were established in my DWC unit, as I wanted to see if this setup supported already growing plants before I tried growing straight from seed (more likely to see issues sooner, was my logic).

My first attempts at the Kratky hydroponic method: 3 black buckets that have a hole drilled into each of their lids to support the plant. Back righthand: ultraviolet mustard (not looking particularly purple right now but it did when it was smaller. You can can still see the purpling on the midrib, and the leaves are about 25cm long. Back lefthand is winter purslane/lambs lettuce, well harvested. At the front is a tiny little tomato plant, about 5cm tall.
