Today in the classroom:
It's a new day. I'm heading back into first year chem with a clean slate. We're splitting time today between starting a high-level survey of each standard this semester and creating a concept map showing relationships. The rest of the time is corrections on the last test.
Second year chem will do some work with bond types and bond lengths. They'll take a short quiz tomorrow on VSEPR geometry based on Lewis diagrams.
