Toronto's Line 5, still not open despite Line 6 coming online yesterday will forever be a running joke in this city.
Kids and I played a board game called "Ticket to ride" last night. You basically build train routes to destinations, gets points.
Some of the train tracks require tunneling and those could cost extra resource cards if you are unlucky. When the cards go well, we often say "on time, on budget!"
Yesterday, twice 10's builds cost extra and both times the kids said "awww... Line 5. Over budget!"
Come on Metrolinx. Even my kids are making fun of you.
