Early signs are claims that there would be a mass exodus of the rich from New York if Zohran Mamdani won the NY Mayoral election were, as we likely all suspected, nonsense;

Rather, the rich seem to have been recommitting to leases on homes on Manhattan according to available property records for the last month.

While the rich may worry about leftist agendas, they also have many more reasons *not* to move - from social networks to their children's education.
