The National Energy System Operator (Neso) is responding to claims that in the extensive queue for connections to the national grid, there are a lot of speculative projects that would never be built.... NESO will now remove projects they designate as 'speculative' so viable projects get earlier connection dates & so get on with building capacity.

Its a good idea, but those projects designated as 'speculative' may well launch legal challenges stalling the process?
