Fraud around the Covid-19 support programmes cost the tax payer around £11bn of which less than £200m has been recovered in the subsequent four years!
And what was there so much? A lack of anti-fraud measures; in other words unlike benefits claimants, the state just took (apparent) businesses at their word!
