Today in the classroom:
First year chem is taking a test on the periodic table. Some basic stuff like valence shell and valence electrons, and drawing Bohr models/Lewis diragrams. They'll also explain periodic properties relating the observations back to atomic structure. This is the last unit test of the year.
Second year chem will do VSEPR theory today using carbon as an example. With only 2 unpaired electrons, how does it make four bonds?
