The past two afternoons five deer have made their way through our back yard, like it's part of their commute. I think the smaller two are the "twins” born earlier this year. Everyone is getting a thick, dark coat as the weather turns colder. I dehydrated apples the other night and put cores and skins out in a little clearing to see if the deer would find it. Despite a fresh layer of snow mom went right over and uncovered them. Took everyone else a while to figure out what she was eating and try to grab some.
