I overslept an _hour_ this morning. I'm glad I set my alarm very early because we were still able to get out of the house without panicing.

First year chem is reviewing for a test over the periodic table tomorrow.

Second year chem is using the PhET atomic interactions simulation to learn the basics of bond length, bond order, and introduce molecular orbitals.

@brianb I love reading what you’re going over in your chemistry classes, and truly wish I was downstream of your efforts when I teach college chemistry!

Many of my freshman tell me they didn’t do labs in HS, or that they have never seen stoichiometry, electron configurations, or double-replacement reactions before. It’s so suprising! However, we are open-access, so I do take these stories with a grain of NaCl.

Rock on 🤘
