Financial Services hypocrisy on show:
Financial commentators are telling the FT that because the fees paid to non-executive directors have lagged inflation (measured by CPI) by over 10% in the last 5 years, NEDs will no longer be willing to serve in this role in the UK.
These are the same commentators who complain & warn about workers in the rest of the economy trying to raise their wages for *exactly* the same reason!
This really is elite entitlement & hypocrisy!
