Today in the classroom:

First day back from Thanksgiving break with an extra snow day tacked on yesterday.

First year chem will be modeling the s-subshell using probability. I'm also trying to decide if I want to do a metal/nonmetal/metalloid lab. I hate mine, might skip it this year.

Second year chem will look at carbon and try to explain why it can make four bonds with only two free valence electrons. Bonding this week and next.
