It is yearly theme review time. 2024 was "year of form" which ended up triggering a rather esoteric exploration of how I do work, a growing backlog, and me to take up running.
2025 will be "year of not letting the perfect be the enemy of the better" or "year of small improvements" in short.
A more practical theme that mirrors where I find myself right now, with limited scope in an ever ubiquitous world.

You can't fail a yearly theme, but I definitely feel this one struggled to find footing.
Not that this year wasn't full of small improvements; I've been running now for 1.5 years (slowed a little since the wet, but still going), my fitness has dramatically improved, I finished more art projects this year than in the last decade.
But I didn't really feel the pull of the theme, like it was fully aligned with the path I found myself on at the end of 2024.
Something to consider for theme 2026.
