#ParkRun 108 completed. It was not the easiest run this morning. Had a couple of drinks last night, which I wouldn't normally do but I got cocky and it just makes so much difference. Even though I went to bed early and had a bunch of water. Look after your bodies, people. Until the android transplants have been properly stress-tested, they're all we've got. Or until we ascend to the heavens as beings of pure light, at which point I'll probably stop doing park run I reckon.
However.... I still pushed it and felt like my time was unlikely to be much slower than recent. I was so so pleased to break 30 minutes last week for only the second time ever, and recognised it would be a miracle if I did it again this morning, but close to 30 I'd be happy with. I did really push at the end and thought I was going to be sick on Trish so felt I deserved some justice. Although there were also 618 people running and we started quite far back which knocks some time off, getting through the crowds.
I cannot quite believe it but we managed to squeak in under, by 6 seconds! I will absolutely take that all day long. I will take that to the BANK!
I am hands down stone cold the absolute WORST sub-30 runner you ever saw in your whole entire goddamn life. But runner I is.
Have a great weekend you bloody flippin lovely beings. ❤️
