#ScribesAndMakers 28 How do you feel about poems with rhymes?

Beowulf and Hyakunin Isshu do fine without them, but rhymes can be powerful in verse forms that want them.

But, if you call your poem by a name of a style that has a traditional meter and rhyme scheme(s), you should use the traditional meter and SOME rhyme scheme (I won't insist on one of the traditional ones).

(If you publish 'a Haiku a Day' and your syllable counts are very sloppy, I will block you as bad for my blood pressure)
