Had a look at a handfull games about building a house on a street or a whole street.

None had any sign of bicycle lanes! Some showed a bike or two parked, but none in motion.

You know what most had? Cars, or at the least roads that look very car centric!

I even looked at 2 games focused entirely on transportation: All kinds; trains, planes, even horse and carriage, oh my! But not one bike visible in the promos!

#motonormativity has a crazy hold over us all!

A long street with street signs and street markings ment for cars. There are three bicycle stands with bicycles in them, on the side of the road where none of the buildings are. No one is interacting with bicycles.

There must be a way, you say? Well, how about either building some bicycle infrastructure and lowering the speed limit (if that's 40 mph, that is wild! Even 40 kmh is way too much for a street like this!) or close it off for cars entirely and open it up for all vulnerable road users, no matter how young or old. Just make sure to have some accessible parking spaces for disabled people nearby. Not every single door has to be accessible by car.

A street with markings and signs for cars, including a 40 speed limit sign is seen in the background. In front is an animal advisor to the player, it says "There must be a way to make both young and older villagers happy though…"
