@eff I support and use DuckDuckGo but am disappointed they now include inane AI summaries at the top of search results. They really are useless and pointless.

@eff DuckDuckGo protects privacy. That's right. Unfortunately, its search results depend on Microsoft and its search engine Bing. For example, the domain of this project (smartphone-dont-spy.de/en) is blocked by Microsoft. Therefore, the project cannot be found on DuckDuckGo. We don't know why. Possibly because individual security tips are directed directly against Microsoft. Microsoft is the gatekeeper for all search results in DuckDuckGo. It may be more private. But it is not free and independent.
@eff If I'm reading it right, isn't that the DuckDUckGo that is/was giving everything to Microsoft?
