People do realize that "lesbian" originally referred to any sapphist, including _bisexuals_, right? That it has historically been used to refer to any romantic or sexual relationship between women, including if we know nothing else about them (such as whether they may be bi).

It has also been used to describe relationships with women _even in the absence of attraction to them_, a la political lesbianism.
We're not even getting into the difference between a _romantic_ relationship and a _sexual_ one here.

Okay. Words mean things and they can shift in meaning over time.
And also. If you are gatekeeping the term "lesbian" history is not generally on your side, and the idea of "gold star" or it only "counting" if you are 6/6 on the Kinsey scale, have never once looked at men, etc is _incredibly_ and _deeply_ problematic.
