at a recent meeting discussing the use of #LLMs #AI in #teaching, it was clear to me that if someone is smart then there is no guarantee that they cannot also be very stupid. even worse, the smarter they are then the higher the risk that this poses because few will question their stupidity. …i wish we could move away from #academic #FOMO … #GenerativeAI is an enormous risk to teaching and learning (as well as posing serious legal and ethical questions, in general).
