As expected, the James Comey indictment has been dismissed. #Politics

This image shows a legal document from the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Alexandria Division. It is titled “Opinion and Order Granting Motion to Dismiss Indictment (ECF No. 60)” for the case “United States of America v. James B. Comey, Jr.” (Criminal No. 1:25-cr-00272-MSN). The document summarizes the court’s decision to dismiss an indictment against James B. Comey, Jr. The text explains that Lindsey Halligan, recently appointed Interim U.S. Attorney, presented the indictment, but her appointment was deemed invalid. As she had no lawful authority to present the indictment, the court granted Comey’s motion to dismiss, without prejudice.
