Why does #AI devour so much water? 'Millions can be dying of thirst outside the data center but the AI must drink its fill.' @gerrymcgovern

AI must have its water. Millions can be dying of thirst outside the data center but the AI must drink its fill. Have zero doubt about this: Big Tech is more than happy to let humanity and the rest of life go without water so that it can feed its voracious AI. We are only at the very tip of the melting iceberg here. In ten years, it鈥檚 hard to even imagine the vast quantities of water AI will demand. And all during an unprecedented global water crisis where our continents are literally drying out because we have pumped too much water from our aquifers in the last fifty years.
