Looking over a lake (yes, the same old lake but it’s always so different). This is the moment of sunset where the sun’s rays skim over the horizon through our atmosphere scattering red, orange, and yellow light to illuminate the bottom of clouds stretching in an arc from horizon to horizon. The rays are then reflected onto a placid lake creating a perfectly symmetrical pattern of light and dark dunes. In the foreground is a sandy shore strewn with weeds.
