A new report reveals one-in-five Canadian immigrants leave within 25 years, with the exodus peaking at five years. The most highly educated, like those with doctorates and experienced managers, are over twice as likely to depart, often due to stagnant job prospects. The very people with global expertise needed to build infrastructure and grow businesses are the ones leaving fastest.

@yogthos jobs for doctorate havers in a lot of fields tend to be scarce and short term, getting chucked from one country to another for a job that won't last long enough to save for the next move is so cool
