The last five films I watched at the cinema, in order of preference:
- The Secret Agent (Brazilian): If you want to gain an insight into the violence of Brazil's last dictatorship through an intriguing and engaging narrative.
- Late Shit (Swiss-German): Even the richest countries have problems.
- The Blue Trail (Brazilian): A good critique of ageism set in a dystopian society in a Brazilian jungle.
- Franz (Czech Republic): Interesting insight into the struggles of this Czech genius.
- Hannah Arendt: Facing Tyranny (US/Germany). I was attracted by the German title, 'Denken ist gefährlich'. I watched it in German, so I may have missed some parts, but it provides a good overview of Arendt's life.
