Do you feel that television can stimulate the imagination as well as reading?

I haven't been able to watch video reliably in over 10 years, so I don't think I'm a good person to answer this.

BUT! luckily, there is concrete evidence we can turn to.

Given that there is more fanfic based on TV and movies than on books, I think we can safely say that television does a fine job of stimulating the imagination.
