Africa is BIG
@infobeautiful Africa is actually so big, it's possible to fit a smaller Africa perfectly within it's borders.
@infobeautiful
That tracks because it's an entire continent, but the real surprise here is Brazil is HOW big??
@infobeautiful Wiki: "Europe's total geographical area is about 10 million square kilometres"
10,180,000 km2:

@infobeautiful birthplace of humanity
@infobeautiful Bigger than frickin Europe???? And wdym Europe is only twice as big as India? This is confusing as hell
@infobeautiful It's a continent? Other than the comparison with Europe, it's being compared with countries? Yeah, continents are big.
Africa is 11.7 million square miles, behind Asia at 17.2, but ahead of North America at 9.3 and South America at 6.8.
Europe, the colonizer, is scrawny at 3.9.
But it lacks enough navigable rivers

And then it was of cause plagued by being colonized.
@infobeautiful damn, Europe and China are big as hell. as for Africa, collossal. thanks for this infographique
@infobeautiful Still smaller than Asia or America (north+south).
