Yes, it is indeed similar, although, Nerd Dictation uses the VoskAPI, which, according to my tests, doesn't come close in terms of quality/low WER of Whisper or Parakeet.
@janriemer I'd like to have whisper, parakeet or so but with an API like the one in Nerd Dictation...
Maybe I should write it... hmmm!
