I find it both idiotic and amazing that Pluribus by Vince Gilligan (the creator of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul) is praised purely for its originality. Like, what the hell happened? Since when is that considered a merit on its own? There are plenty of original films and series out there, but producers seem to prefer sequels and remakes these days. Viewers, on the other hand, never stopped caring about original stories. So how has that suddenly become some kind of remarkable achievement? I hate this timeline.
