You might be asking: "you're a fox, so why the tiger stripes?"

Look, if foxes had stripes, they'd be fox stripes!

When I was younger, I struggled with being significantly overweight for my size, and it brought me a lot of embarrassment and shame. I eventually gathered up the conviction to tell myself that I did not want to be that way for the rest of my life, so I launched myself on a lifelong fitness journey that really stuck.

Eventually I lost ALL the weight I set out to. I climbed my mountain. But I was left with the physical scars that told the tale. This brought me more shame, and for years I was really embarrassed about my body, even though I had achieved my goals.

With some personal growth, I got sick of carrying that burden and committed to myself that these are not marks of shame, but a badge of honor to bear proudly. These tattoos are my reminder to celebrate the wonderful journey that life takes you on.
