I wonder what kind of art Europeans learn about at school that was created outside their own cultural center.

Can you name any artists you learned about in school who weren’t European or American?

I just listened to a podcast about Tarsila do Amaral and her influence on the Brazilian modern art movement, along with Oswald de Andrade (her husband) and Mário de Andrade.
