Barista or Painter? Part 2

Testing the old manual method for comparison.
The result is clear: the traditional method works fine for the walls, while the spray setup is much better for the ceiling and corners.

The tech part? That small box contains a NodeMCU v3 and a DHT22 temperature and humidity sensor, installed in 2018.

Today I am also a painter. But I am a Barista and a nerd every day 馃檪

#DIY

A person (me) is painting the upper part of a wall using a long-handled roller in a small room with tiled lower walls. The person is smiling toward the camera and wearing a light work shirt with sleeves rolled up. A mirror and a cabinet are mounted on the wall behind them, and a plastic sheet covers part of the area near a wall-mounted device. Sunlight enters through a tall window on the right, showing the rooftops of nearby buildings outside.

@stefano

Scene from Fellini's film "Intervista", two painters suspended, each on a scaffold, paint a blue sky for a cinematic set

@stefano So which was faster? 2 hours of painting a wall with the spray or the roller on the wall?

Also, if I ever paint a ceiling again I would probably use a sprayer. Wouldn't wish ceiling painting on my worst enemy the traditional way! :D
