A bit related to this: Matt Garman (AWS CEO) just had an interview with the german newspaper “Handelsblatt” and he praised a “very good relationship” with the Trump administration (I'm really scared of it, to be honest) and mentioned an EU cloud offering allegedly inaccessible to US authorities… that’s a repeated claim that absolutely contradicts legal reality (Patriot Act / Cloud Act).
