For Zoë Holmes, assistant professor of physics, science is above all a collective adventure. Last week, she received the Zonta Prize — an award that, every two years in Switzerland, recognizes a promising young female scientist.

The scientist, who once hesitated between physics and philosophy, reflects on her unusual journey. She shares her desire to encourage young people to follow their scientific curiosity.
