@emilyenco Are you using Windows?!!?! 😜
Seriously (yes I'm replying with my nerd-account). Let me try to unravel your wishes.
- Adobe software: It depends which Adobe software. Most Adobe software have an open-source Linux alternative. E.g. Photoshop > The Gimp. Yes that has a learning curve, but Photoshop has that too. https://itsfoss.com/adobe-alternatives-linux/
- Tidal: There are multiple 'unofficial' desktop apps (with Electron and native). All work without problems.
- Zoo Tycoon: As other repliers already noticed. Lutris/Wine. Actually Steam has it's own OS based on Linux (I see they don't have Zoo Tycoon), so most Steam games are working great on Linux. The reason Linux has lesser games than Windows is not a technical issue, but a capitalist issue.
So back to your question. Which distro? I use Ubuntu, but if I had the time I would switch to another one. I think Linux Mint (with the Cinnamon DE) (as you being a Windows user) is the best choice.

Another option is SteamOS. I don't have experience with this distro, but it's like Ubuntu (and therefore indirect also Mint) based on Debian.

Good luck.
