We knew it should be beautiful, but this really surpasses our expectations. View from hotel room, stunning to wake up with.

The panorama shows the Walliser Breithorn (the highest point not visible, which is slightly to the left) and the "twins" Castor and Pollux.

Castor was our goal in 2005, but the night before the summit attempt there was a 50cm snow dump and our guides gently let us know we would not be up to the physical challenge of making a "Spur". As a substitute we climbed the Breithorn instead.
