My flight from LAX to PHL (en route to Web Summit in Lisbon) was told to join a holding pattern over PHL because of air traffic controller shortages, but we didn't have fuel, so we diverted to BWI and were put in a holding pattern there, but we had even less fuel, so now they're trying to land us at Dulles. Here's hoping. Thanks, Trump.

@pluralistic Is your connection at PHL tomorrow? If so, you might want to get Amtrak up to philly tomorrow rather than risk adding another flight connection.

Good luck. I used to fly a lot in 1970s-1990s, and in the earlier era I remember all too well flights that had to circle… but then scheduling got much better.
