This is really fun - @beetle_b ran a variant of my pelican riding a bicycle SVG test using POV-Ray instead and got terrible ray-traced pelicans out of a bunch of different models: https://blog.nawaz.org/posts/2025/Oct/pelican-on-a-bike-raytracer-edition/ and https://mastodon.xyz/@beetle_b/115436481779600909

@simon @beetle_b it’s kinda crazy (but also cool?) that POV Ray is still around. i had a book on pov ray in like… 1993?
