Video title: Is free Affinity going to kill Inkscape?
Not bloody likely. I'll grant I haven't used the vector graphics part of Affinity v3 yet but, last I had checked, their software was more than a decade behind Inkscape's present day functionality.
Inkscape is far and away the best open source creativity based app I use. Also, it works on Linux, Windows, and Mac which puts it one major OS ahead of Affinity.
Note: It turns out the video is from one of the maintainers / developers of Inkscape. I haven't watched it yet but it appears he's responding to others' concerns. I'm currently watching a video of his on an upcoming UX change for Inkscape.
I'm extremely stoked about the changes he's talking about. The ones that directly impact my every day are much needed. There's also an update relating to a Google Summer of Code update that's going to improve CMYK efforts eventually.
