two weeks ago I asked about an #openscience #chemistry journal. Thank you, to everyone who coined in. There seems to be sufficient interest and a lot of great comments came in. https://social.edu.nl/@egonw/115429360431414258

The first step seems to be to establish good editorial guidelines. These explain what is expected of authors and reviewers. A community has to agree on this first.

I think this may also be why we ended up in the situation where we are. Lots of citations, but low reproducibility.

@egonw what a mad pursuit! Love it! I know, it will be a lot of work. So, I wish you the bit of luck, which is necessary, too!

Also, although you know that my background is in biophysics (so only remotely related to chemistry) and I do little in this line of work these days. Still, count me in, if there is anything I can do to support this journal to get it off the ground!
