@jonburkeUK
You can’t afford a coal mine.

You can’t afford a gas turbine.

You can’t afford an oil rig.

Only fossil fuel states and billionaires can.

But you can afford a solar power station on your roof.

Now, ask yourself why you encounter so much anti-renewable energy propaganda.

@davep are you sure about that? I'm not in favor of fossil fuels but this seems like a pretty bad argument.

@leouieda I'm not sure what point you're making. The ongoing gasoline/diesel costs for a generator are huge and they're massively inefficient.

@davep yes I agree. My point is that anyone can run a gas engine at home so "you can't use petrol but you can do solar" is probably not why the fossil fuel industry does propaganda.

@leouieda @davep I can't run a gas engine in my apartment. I can't put PV on the roof either I admit but I'm hoping one day to get some on the balcony.

@leouieda I'm not sure what your wording means, but the propaganda is most definitely to denigrate personal power independence.

@davep you also can't afford a nuclear power station or a wind turbine farm but you can power your house with wood burning stoves too. sure is some bias here, even if intentions may seem decent.
