📍photos of santuario nacional de nuestra señora de los desamparados (church of santa ana), originally constructed in 1720-1725, built on a burial site of the pre-colonial tagalog kingdom called namayan. the camarin de la virgen (queen's dressing room) behind the retablo, declared a national treasure in 2008, was closed so I still haven't seen it. I was born in the hospital that stands on what used to be this church's cemetery.
