I want to normalize talking about something that is often treated privately, but that the majority of humans have personally dealt with.

Periods.
Menstrual cycles.
Being on the rag or visited by Aunt Flo or any of the other phrases we've turned to in order to hide the discomfort.

And, to do so I'm going to be putting a content warning on all of the replies and polls below, because some people are genuinely disgusted by the topic and don't want to interact. Which is fine for them. But if you are interested and curious and also want to normalize this conversation, please do click in. And boost this message when sharing the CW polls so that context can also easily be found.

I will be adding new questions/polls daily for one week. If you get tired of seeing these posts, just imagine how tired we are of bleeding.

You may wonder why I'm doing this. Number one reason is to create empathy and solidarity. If we are to build within our societies, a kinder way where human needs are put before profit, then I believe we first must become aware of the needs we have and the needs that humans have. The majority of humans experience a cycle in one way of another. I may be back to further share my intentions in the replies, but for now, this is the most important thing I can say about my intentions.
