@StillIRise1963 @mayintoronto It's completely insane that the minimum wage isn't a living wage. The bare minimum must be covering the cost of basic living expenses, anything less is just inhumane.

@StillIRise1963 some asshat commented to me today that my students' families who I said needed help, couldn't possibly be already going hungry because Snap benefits were only stopped since Monday.
