One of my high priority goals in life is to work on making climate justice movements rape-free spaces.
A rapist causes more harm to the movement and its effectiveness than a thousand cops do together. (I'm not mentioning the harm they do to their victims because it is clear that no one cares about them; if they did this issue would have been resolved a generation or two ago. /bitter)
Yet the rapist won't get kicked out, because the rapist is "invaluable" to the ANARCHIST organisation. Huh sure thing.
And that was in the nicest, most positive and good vibes place I could find.
Others were just fiefdoms run by rapists surrounded by their harem of disempowered victims. A cult doesn't have to say weird shit about spirituality or wear funny clothes to be dangerous.
I won't shut up about this.
