To immigrants in Germany: have you ever made a German friend?

I’m sure some have. But if you were fortunate enough to form one of those friendships, how would you compare it to the meaningful, deep friendships you had in your home country?

I don’t mean it’s impossible. I’m just wondering how likely it really is.
